Tatooine Hutt Cartel Vault and Keycards Locations: Star Wars Outlaws (2024)

How to access the Hutt Cartel Vault located in Mos Eisley, on Tatooine and where to find three keycards to get access to the treasure chest containing credits and a cosmetic for the Trailblazer.

What are the Syndicate Vaults

Each of the fourSyndicates in Star Wars Outlawshave establishments on one or more planets. Inside those bases, you will find a restricted area with a vault containing a treasure chest with valuable loot.

The areas around the vaults are restricted regardless of what reputation you have built with the syndicate up to this point. If you have high reputation, you will be able to freely roam around the syndicate’s district.

How to reach the Hutt Vault on Tatooine

This walkthrough will assume you have a low reputation with the Hutts. If you have a good or higher reputation, you can walk freely in the district up to the restricted area. Skip further down the guide to read how to sneak into the vault.

The Hutt district area is guarded by two Gamorreans standing in front of the main gate East of Mos Eisley. They will not let you in if you have a low reputation. You will have to sneak silently through another entrance.

The entrance to the Hutt district on Mos Eisley is on the west side, passing the Bazaar. To find the alternate route you have to take the stairs on the left side of the street.

There is only one way to go here. Continue walking until you see a ladder. Send Nix to toggle the lever. This will make the ladder drop, proceed to climb.

Walk to the edge of the building and drop down. This is when the stealth part begins.

Jump into the bushes as soon as possible. There are two guards on each side. The guard on the right side patrols the area but once he reaches the right corner he’ll stay there for a considerable amount of time.

Send Nix to distract the left guard. Make sure to put Nix in a spot where he’ll make the guard move their eyes away from this entrance, then sneak inside.

There’s a Gamorrean guarding a door. Approach it from the right side to avoid getting detected. Unless you have unlocked the Electro-Shock Prod from the Scavenger Expert, you can’t take it down in one hit.

If this is the case for you, send Nix to attack and then use a Takedown. He will go down instantaneously. This also applies to other elite enemies.

Use the data spike to open the door. Walk in a straight line until you find another door (unlocked). Open it and head downstairs.

The first guard inside this area is a few meters away from the stairs, get close and eliminate him.

From this spot, you’ll be able to spot a lever. This lever must be pulled by Nix so the energy barrier shuts down temporarily. But before doing so you must eliminate the remaining guard.

The last guard is around the corner. Nix can detonate the grenades or you can just send him to attack and then use a takedown. Sometimes, a third guard is patrolling this area, if this happens to you just wait for him to come near the corner.

Send Nix to pull the lever, then enter the outside area of the vault. Access the computer to collect the data of all three keycards’ locations.

Where to find the Keycards

When you first reach a vault and interact with the terminal inside, you will get intel about three keycards that you have to obtain to unlock the locked-off section that contains the vault’s treasure. This segment shows you where to find the keycards for the Hutt vault on Tatooine:

Where to find Dokk’s Vault Keycard

Head to the Hutt Cartel Storehouse, located northwest of the Great Chott Salt Flat. There are multiple ways to enter but I heavily recommend using the door on the east side. It is only guarded by two Hutt enforcers.

Approach from the right side, the Gamorrean is outside of the compound while the other guard is inside fixing a Dessert Skiff.

You can send Nix to detonate the grenade of the second guard. Before the explosion triggers you can take down the Gamorrean Guard. This way both enemies will fall simultaneously.

Head inside, you will see this big lift. Stand on top of it to activate it and head to the upper level.

You’ll see a small entrance, there is a Gamorrean right around the corner. It’s extremely important that you take it down without making any noise. There are two guards nearby and it’s very easy to catch their attention.

I suggest sending Nix to attack then rush into melee range for a takedown. Use the data spike to open the door of this storage room.

Dokk’s Keycard is inside it. Don’t forget to grab the other items around, including the Tatooine Gunslinger Shirt that is inside the big container.

Where to find Garfalaquox’s Keycard

The next Keycard is west of the Hutt Cartel Storehouse. This is mostly an open area, there are many ways to enter and exit this area. My suggestion is to enter through the west side. Specifically via the climbable wall that’s next to the tower that can be seen in the following image.

Don’t get to the top immediately. This would reveal you to the guards and if any enemy spots you it’s pretty much over for the stealth approach.

There is only one entrance and as you can see in the next image it is packed with enemies. I found it impossible to sneak in but what you can do to reduce the risk is send Nix to trigger as many explosions as possible.

The combustible tanks are marked with arrows. Nix can reach almost all of them. It’s important to point out that there are no alarms to be triggered here.

The Vault Keycard and other good items like the Lieutenant Speeder Paint Job are inside the room.

Bib’s Vault Keycard

Head northwest of Mos Eisley Outskirts. The main road eventually divides into two sections, take the left path. You’ll see a climbable wall. Be careful with the three-man patrol that’s on the right side.

This case is almost identical to the previous keycard. The place is flooded with guards but you can use the environment and good positioning to your advantage. On the bright side, there are no alarms here. Combustible tanks are marked with arrows.

Send Nix to detonate the grenades of the enemies who are far from the others. Next, start exploding the combustible tanks or more of their grenades, whatever you consider will do more damage. Remember that you can do all of this while still hanging to the wall.

It’s likely that those who remain will group up to search for you. This is a good opportunity to throw a grenade or show your gunslinger skills. It still has its risks but it’s way easier to achieve now that you have decimated their forces.

Don’t forget to loot this big container, it has a Hired Gun Droid Trophy for your speeder.

With all enemies gone, you can now use the spike on the door of the building that’s in the middle of this area. There is one standard enemy inside, you shouldn’t have any issues eliminating it.
